TMB Suspends Dallas Physician (Monga)

On May 27, 2026, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of Narinder Kumar Monga, M.D. (Lic. No. F6290), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.

 

The Board panel found that Dr. Monga was indicted and arrested for felony sexual assault of a patient.

 

Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology Suspends Conroe MRT (Welch)

On May 22, 2026, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical radiologic technologist certificate of Thomas Luis Welch, MRT (Lic. No. GMR00102502), after determining his continuation in practice as a medical radiologic technologist would constitute a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.

 

The Board panel found that that in April 2026, Mr. Welch was arrested and charged for possession of child pornography.

 

Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology Restricts Prosper MRT (Worley)

On May 14, 2026, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Board of Radiologic Technology temporarily restricted, without notice, the Texas medical radiologic technologist certificate of Jacob Worley, MRT (Lic. No. GMR02007536). The Board panel found that Mr. Worley engaged in unprofessional conduct and sexually inappropriate contact or behavior directed towards a patient in a medical setting. The restriction was effective immediately.

 

Mr. Worley’s license is restricted under the following terms: shall not perform medical radiologic procedures on female patients.

TMB Disciplines 19 Physicians at March Meeting

At its March 27, 2026, meeting, the Texas Medical Board disciplined 19 licensed physicians.

 

The disciplinary actions included: one related to non-therapeutic prescribing, nine orders related to standard of care, two orders related to unprofessional conduct, one administrative/rules violation, two voluntary surrenders, one voluntary suspension, one Consent Order, and two Final Orders.
