On June 20, 2025, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of John Michael Cobb, M.D. (Lic. No. L6013), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately. 

The Board panel found that Dr. Cobb suffers from an unmanaged health condition that impairs his ability to safely practice medicine and is currently engaged in the practice of medicine without any oversight or monitoring. 

On April 17, 2025, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of Lee William Haak, M.D. (Lic. No. L2296), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately. 

The Board panel found that Dr. Haak suffers from an impairment that interferes with his ability to practice medicine safely. 

On April 17, 2025, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of Bamidele Oyebamiji Adeyemo, M.D. (Lic. No. T6165), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately. 

The Board panel found that Dr. Adeyemo suffers from an unmanaged health condition that impairs his ability to safely practice medicine and is currently engaged in the practice of medicine without any oversight or monitoring.

At its March 21, 2025, meeting, the Texas Medical Board disciplined 33 licensed physicians. 

The disciplinary actions included: two orders related to violation of Board rules, one related to impairment, one order related to nontherapeutic prescribing, 12 orders related to peer review or other states’ actions, eight orders related to standard of care, one order related to unprofessional conduct, one Consent Order, six Mediated Settlement Agreed Orders, and one Final Order. The Board also ratified four cease-and-desist orders.

On January 9, 2025, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of Samer Elfallal, D.O. (Lic. No. R9605), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately. 

On December 20, 2024, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of Nathan Robert Starke, M.D. (Lic. No. R3597), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.
