439. What type of continuing education credit do I earn for completing the Life of the Mother Act CME?

TMB is not an accredited CME provider therefore it may only be counted as ethics towards the TMB Continuing Education requirement. The course accessible via MyTMB is NOT an AMA Category 1 credit.  

*NOTE: This course, taken through TMB (via MyTMB), will not appear as a separate requirement in CE Broker and does not need to be reported there for SB 31 compliance purposes. However, physicians required to complete the Life of the Mother Act CME may count it toward ethics hours, in which case it should be reported on CE Broker under Medical Ethics and/or Professional Responsibility CME.
