Did you graduate from a U.S. or Canadian Medical School?
Have you completed one year from an approved graduate medical training program?
Have you completed all steps of a required examination for licensure?
Have you been practicing administrative medicine within the past three years?
Does any of the following apply to you?
- Criminal History
- Actions by Health Professional Licensing or Certification Authorities,
- Unusual Circumstances during Medical Education, Training, and/or Professional Practice,
- Malpractice History,
- Impairment
You may be eligible, but you will be required to provide additional documentation
- Have you completed two years from an approved graduate medical training program?
- OR Worked 2 years under a Texas Faculty Temporary License?
- OR Completed one year of accredited training and worked 1 year under a Texas Faculty Temporary License?
Are you specialty or sub specialty certified by an ABMS or AOABOS board?
Do you have 5 years of clinical practice under an unrestricted medical license issued in the US, without any disciplinary action in any state?
You are not yet eligible for a Texas Administrative Medical License until you meet one of the conditions provided to you in the previous screen.
