I am a resident in an accredited out of state residency program and wish to complete a rotation in Texas. Do I need to obtain a training permit? If the rotation in Texas is more than 60 consecutive days, am I still eligible for a training permit?
Answer
Yes. An online PIT application must be completed for a rotation in Texas regardless of rotation length. You will use the same online application as a Texas physician in training, however, the fee will vary.
