On June 3, 2026, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas non-certified radiologic technologist registration certificate of Angela Louise Palmares, NCT (Lic. No. NCR02005436), after determining her continuation in practice as a non-certified radiologic technologist would constitute a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.
The Board panel found that, while a substitute teacher for the Llano Independent School District, Ms. Palmares was arrested in Temple, Texas for an improper relationship between an educator and student.
A temporary suspension hearing with notice will be held as soon as practicable with 10 days' notice to Ms. Palmares unless the hearing is specifically waived by Ms. Palmares.
The temporary suspension remains in place until the Board takes further action.
